Do you really need touch screen?

Are you sure you absolutely need a touch screen on you cell phone? If not, then there are alternatives to the iPhone:I guess the moral is that you shouldn't pay too much attention to the specifications, or at least that they don't convey the full story.
Or maybe they are saying that the iPhone is just marginally better than a rock. Who knows :)
